Software Leadership Circles at Test Double Expands

Test Double is expanding Software Leadership Circles to blended cohorts of product and engineering leaders. Applications are open October 13 - 31, 2025 for 2026 cohorts.

Test Double is expanding our leadership peer mentor circles program for the fourth year to include blended cohorts of product and engineering leaders.

About Software Leadership Circles peer mentorship program

Product management and software engineering leaders collaborate to build the right thing and build the thing right, and we saw great benefits from Product Leadership Circle cohorts that included engineering and technical leaders. So we're expanding that across the board for Software Leadership Circles.

Small group cohorts of 6-8 leaders will meet for 90 minutes each month January through June. The Software Leadership Circles program is facilitated by experienced software leaders, and creates a safe place for trusted peer mentorship and collaboration on challenges.

We expect 2026 cohorts to benefit from the blended set of product and engineering peers, as everyone evolves to face ever-changing challenges and drive business impact.

Applications for 2026 cohorts are open now through October 31, 2025, and the program is free.

More information and application

Selected experiences from past Circles

2025 cohorts discussed things like:

  • building AI evals to actually improve the product
  • org design for AI around roles, tempo and decision-making speed
  • creating shared understanding at scale so strategy survives reality

‍

“I really got a lot out of Circles. The lean coffee format made the sessions feel natural and genuinely useful. The conversations around AI, evolving product roles, and new tools hit close to home. I walked away with ideas I could apply the next day at work. Some of the insights ended up saving me time and helping me approach problems in a more focused way.”
–  Brendan Gardner, Product Leader at Lowe’s

‍

“The Circles I had the opportunity to be a part of were both unique, informative, and led to strong connections with others in similar roles. I loved the casual nature of the gatherings and the amount of knowledge shared between the members in such a short amount of time.  Attending these was a way for me to level up my awareness of cutting-edge approaches and drive creativity and efficiency in my problem solving.  The lessons I learned from my groups' collective knowledge and experiences were invaluable to my work output and continuous learning.”
–  Lauren Doran, Product Leader at Abercrombie & Fitch

‍

"It was tremendously engaging and rewarding to collaborate with industry peers on emerging topics and trends. With the pace of change in today's market, Circles helped me navigate between the industry noise with peers I could trust."
–  Nicholas Romito, VP Digital Product Leader at Citizens Bank

‍

"Challenging my perspective, thinking, and learning has been a great way to grow in my product journey, and Circles has been a valuable community resource for me in my product career. Our work is often lonely and siloed, and it's helpful to have a circle of fellow product professionals to navigate these challenges together in a peer-led format."
–  Allison Herbert at Milliken & Company

‍

"I’m grateful to have been part of two Circles. The format of the sessions lends to incredible information sharing, idea generation and genuine connection in a short period of time. What has been most rewarding from the experience is the fact that I’ve made strong connections with several of my cohorts as a result that have become mentors, allies and friends."
–  Steven Michalovich, Product Leader at Bread Financial
