Doc has extensive experience in building great software and great teams, including focuses within his career in software development, software architecture, product management, technology leadership, agile coaching, organizational agility, and systems thinking.

Doc joins several others in Test Double’s 100% remote team who are based in Georgia. He’s a father of two and grandfather of four. Doc authored the book Escape Velocity: Better Metrics for Agile Teams, as well as a Clean Code course on technical debt and a PluralSight course on agile. He is also working on a new book for future publication about essential behaviors that every software product team should exhibit.
